I’m Franziska—a graphic designer, illustrator, and maker. Originally from Germany, I now live in Aotearoa New Zealand.

My practice includes freelance work with direct clients and contract roles with design studios. I’ve worked on a range of projects for clients in New Zealand, Australia, and Germany, with a focus on thoughtful, well-crafted visual communication.

Balancing digital design with hands-on making is central to my work. Alongside design and illustration, I work across painting, sketching (both digital and analogue), sewing, and ceramics.

In 2025, I founded Franka, my brand for handmade, small-batch, and one-off pieces. Currently, my focus is on sewing and pattern making — creating bespoke garments for clients and ready-to-wear items for purchase.
